Trade Show Preparation Checklist

Trade Show Preparation Checklist – 10 weeks

This series of articles is called “Trade Show Preparation Checklist” and helps you, week after week, to prepare the most important aspects of your booth setup and event organization. We will review everything from booth decoration, promotion, samples, logistics, travel, staff training to leads management. Access your checklist week by week here.

What should I prepare 10 weeks before my event?

Two and half months left before your event – there is a lot of work ahead of us. Let’s get started and see what you should do this week.

Setup WiFi

There are so many reasons why you need proper internet at your booth, but we won’t list them here (to find out more: “why is internet essential in a trade show booth?“).

Unfortunately, still today, many exhibition venues do not provide quality WiFi signal. To be precise, they don’t provide FREE quality WiFi, but they will strongly encourage you to purchase it (from them, indeed).

Contact the organizer as soon as possible and inquire about the internet options at the booth. Look at all possible alternatives and consider your options: free public WiFi, private network, 3G/4G SIM card, etc.

You must have found your solution by the end of the week, there will be so many other things to focus on next week!

We wish you the best for your exhibition!

The Exhibitor.
